The Soul Dog Rescue & Humane Society Thrift Store is a quality thrift store that prides itself on our role in the community, helping anyone regardless of ability to pay our ridiculously low prices. We strive to provide a resource to our homeless and struggling population in the Englewood area, and also make a small profit to help fund our busy transport program.

While we are extremely selective in the merchandise that we sell, due to the size of our store (under 700 square feet), we offer unbeatable prices and bargains galore, making us a favorite stop for many in search of an amazing deal. 

At Soul Dog’s Thrift Store, shoppers can explore aisles of gently used clothing, housewares, furniture and more at great prices. Merchandise changes daily, so every day brings a new shopping experience. Soul Dog prides itself on quality merchandise, low prices, friendly staff, and a clean and comfortable shopping environment.

​In search of items for your pets? Check our store first as we always have a great selection of collars, leashes, beds, bowls, pet clothing and other new items at bargain basement prices!

We also sell our beloved rescue t-shirts in all sizes and a variety of colors. There’s definitely something for everyone at Soul Dog Thrift Store!
DONATIONS
Like any thrift store, but especially the smaller, independent stores, donations are gold and the key to our ability to stay in business. As of 2019, in large part to our amazing supporters and donors, we have managed to stay in business for 7 years! Cash donations are always welcome at the store, but it is the donated goods and items that keep us afloat.

We welcome donations of:

  • Gently used, clean and quality items
  • Mens and Women’s Clothing
  • Smaller furniture items (i.e. dressers, end tables, shelving, etc.)
  • Knick-knacks
  • DVD and Blue-ray movies
  • House décor & artwork
  • Kitchen items
  • Camping and outdoor gear

We cannot accept:

  • VHS movies
  • Tube TVs
  • Old electronics
  • Sofas
  • Mattresses
  • Baby equipment (e.g. cribs)
  • Old books, magazines, encyclopedias, dictionaries
  • Vases
  • Anything that is chipped, cracked or broken
