We have a sister shelter on the Ute Mountain Reservation, that has been around for longer than any of us can remember. It is in a dilapidated, double-wide trailer and has been in a state of disrepair for years and years. The Soul Dog Family has replaced almost all of the flooring, built outdoor, cemented kennels, purchased indoor kennels for housing animals, provided food, vaccines and medical care, a washer and dryer and many other improvements over the years, but there is still a huge need to improve the quality of life for the animal residents of this shelter and the people who work there.

We also provide spay/neuter campaigns internationally to support local rescuers who have crossed our paths, who are also working hard for the people and animals in their communities. This work has taken us to Ecuador, Colombia, American Samoa and the Dominican Republic as we work to make spay/neuter and healthy living a part of the future for animals all over the world!

We apply for grants and have some amazing foundation support for many of our projects, but there is always more that we can do to make life better for the animals and people we work with. Our donors make these dreams of ours a reality, and as an organization fueled by volunteers, the majority of all donations goes directly to the animals.
