Name: Granbird
Age: 1 Year Old
Gender: Male
About: Granbird is an almost 2-year-old male with a great mix of playful energy and calm companionship. This handsome, dog-friendly boy loves water, enjoys walks, and would thrive in a home that enjoys the outdoors as much as he does. Having lived in a home before, he’s likely already potty trained and knows basic commands. While Granbird enjoys playtime and adventure, he also has a mellow, independent side. He’s not overly clingy—he’s happy just being near you, making him an easygoing and low-maintenance companion. He would do best in a home with a 6-foot privacy fence, as he can be reactive when unfamiliar people or dogs pass by his kennel at the shelter. On leash, though, he’s much more relaxed and polite. He’s a smart pup who will benefit from continued structure and would thrive with obedience training to strengthen his bond with his new family. Due to his size and sensitivity to new environments, Granbird would do best in a home with no or older children who can respect his space. With time and love, he’ll become a deeply loyal and loving friend. He’s ready to leave the shelter behind and find a forever home full of comfort, adventure, and love.
Name: Curtis
Age: 2 Years Old
Gender: Male
About: Curtis is a charming pittie mix with a story that will tug at your heart. Found starving, alone, and with broken teeth, this sweet boy has endured more than his fair share of hardship — yet he never lost his spirit. Through it all, he continues to greet every person he meets with a wagging tail and a hopeful heart. While Curtis is incredibly loving with people, his past experiences have made it difficult for him to be around other animals. Because of this, he must be the only pet in the home — but trust us, he has more than enough love to give. Curtis enjoys the simple things: short walks, lounging in the grass, and spending time with his humans. He would thrive in a quiet home with a secure yard, where he can relax, soak up the sun, and finally feel safe and loved. This special boy is looking for a peaceful forever home where he can be your one and only. If you're ready to open your heart to a loyal, resilient, and endlessly sweet companion, Curtis is ready to meet you.
Name: Big Red O' Growlihan
Age: 3 Months Old
Gender: Male
About: Hi, I am Big Red O’Growlihan, but you can just call me Big Red! Do you have a comfy lap I can sprawl across and maybe some toys I can play with? Because if so, you might just be the family I have been searching for! I'm basically the cutest little dude around — soft, snuggly, and completely devoted to the fine art of being adorable. My favorite hobbies include snuggling (obviously), chasing balls and toys, and sticking close to my people at all times.
I am a mellow little guy when I am out and about, but I will be honest — crates are not exactly my favorite hangout spot. I might grumble a bit, maybe compose a sad country song about it, but I do settle down eventually. Other dogs are super cool and we can totally be friends, but if I am being honest, I would be perfectly fine as a single dog too. Got kids? I love them — as long as they know how to cuddle gently with me. I walk great on leash, I am chill, and I have enough love to fill an entire house (and maybe a few couches too). Apply to adopt me today or come down to the shelter to meet me. We can be best friends, I am sure.

Name: Rafa 2
Age: 2 Years Old
Gender: Female
About: Rafa is a beautiful 2-year-old, 50-pound girl with a golden coat, soulful eyes, and a heart of pure gold. She may have hints of German Shepherd or Golden Retriever in her lineage, but it is her gentle, resilient spirit that makes her truly special. Rafa’s journey has not been an easy one, but in the three months she has been in her loving foster home, she has made incredible progress. She is learning that the world can be a safe and kind place, and with the right person by her side, we know she will continue to blossom each and every day. She is a gentle soul through and through — even when she is unsure, her first instinct is to roll onto her back in a sweet, submissive show of trust. She is crate trained, potty trained, and is picking up her leash manners quickly, showing just how eager she is to learn and grow. Rafa would thrive in a calm, predictable home with a patient, loving owner who can offer her the consistency she needs. She could be happy as your one-and-only, soaking up all your attention, or she may enjoy having a confident dog friend to show her the ropes. With time, patience, and unconditional love, Rafa will reward you with unwavering loyalty in return. She is ready to take the next step toward her forever home — could that be with you?

Name: Vomma
Age: 2 Years Old
Gender: Female
About: Hi friends! My name is Vooma, and I am a gorgeous yellow Lab mix with a heart as big as the Colorado sky! My start in life was a little bumpy — I had to have my tail amputated when I arrived at the shelter — but don’t worry, I’ve perfected the full-body wag! Trust me, when I’m happy (which is a lot), my whole backside joins the party. I recently spent a weekend on a “doggy day out” in a foster home, and let me tell you, I nailed it! I settled in right away, soaked up all the love, and showed my people just how sweet, gentle, and fun I can be. I’m smart, eager to please, and a total lovebug once I get to know you. I’m an active girl who loves adventures — hiking, playing fetch, rolling in the grass, or showing off my signature excited “tippy taps.” But after the fun, I’m all about curling up next to you for some well-deserved snuggle time. I also do great in a kennel and can keep myself busy with toys when you need some “me time.” Now, full disclosure: I prefer to be the one and only dog in the home. I like having my humans all to myself — what can I say? I’m a bit of a diva in the best possible way! I promise to give you more than enough love, laughter, and cuddles to make up for it. 💛
So if you’re looking for a loyal, loving, slightly goofy best friend who’s equal parts adventure buddy and couch snuggler, I’m your girl! I’m at the shelter waiting for my forever family — apply to adopt me today and let’s start our next chapter together!

Name: Cherry Mash
Age: 2 Years Old
Gender: Female
About: Cherry Mash is a gentle, soulful cattle dog mix with a heart as sweet as her name. Weighing around 50 pounds, she’s a smart and affectionate girl who thrives on routine and brings a quiet joy to any home. Cherry is housetrained and quickly learned how to use the doggy door all on her own—proof of just how intelligent and intuitive she is. Although Cherry is shy at first, she’s made incredible progress and continues to open up a little more each day. She loves being near her people, always greeting her foster family at the door with a wagging tail and warm eyes. She’s not the cuddly type—yet—but her gentle presence and growing trust make every small step feel like a big win. Cherry is especially happy around other dogs. She absolutely lights up in their company, grinning from ear to ear and bunny hopping to invite them to play. She also loves to curl up beside them for cozy group naps. Cherry’s ideal home will include a secure yard, a doggy door, and—most importantly—another friendly dog (or more!) to keep her company and help her continue building confidence. The more love and companionship around her, the happier she becomes. Cherry hasn’t shown much interest in cats or children, so a calm, dog-savvy home would be her perfect fit. Once a devoted mama, Cherry Mash gave her pups a loving start—and now it’s her turn to be loved. With kindness and time, she will become a loyal, loving, and quietly joyful companion.

Name: Klorgg
Age: 5 Months Old
Gender: Male
About: Don’t let the mighty name fool you — this German Shepherd mix is all heart and floppy ears. With a mom who was only 23 pounds fully grown, Khlorgg is expected to stay on the smaller side, but he’s got a big personality packed into his little frame. Khlorgg is a smart, affectionate, and curious pup who loves to learn. He’s a puzzle master in training, always eager to take on new challenges — especially if treats are involved. Highly food-motivated, he's easily trainable and thrives with structure, enrichment, and love. He’s learning basic commands, working on housetraining, and already sleeping peacefully through the night. This little guy is still figuring out the world, so sudden noises or new environments can make him pause, but his confidence is growing each day. Khlorgg loves to be part of the action — he tags along to work with his foster mom, where he keeps himself entertained with toys, bones, and Kongs like a total pro. He's happiest when near his humans and being included in whatever the day brings. Khlorgg takes a minute to warm up to new dogs, but once he does, he’s all about playtime. He enjoys children who are gentle and understand his cautious but curious nature. He would do best in a home that can provide him with both physical activity and mental stimulation — he’s not just a cuddler, he’s a thinker, too! If you’re looking for a bright, loving, and loyal companion who’s ready to learn and grow with you, Khlorgg just might be your perfect match.

Name: Franky
Age: 5 Months Old
Gender: Male
About: Hi everyone! My name is Franky, and I am one lucky pup! I got my freedom ride all the way to beautiful Colorado, and I am loving my new mountain life. The only thing missing now is a forever family to call my own!
People always say I have an old soul — calm, gentle, and oh-so-sweet. They are totally right! I am a mellow little guy who loves to snuggle and be close to my people. But do not let my calm side fool you — I have a fun, playful streak too! I love wrestling with my foster siblings (young and old), chewing on my toys and chewies, splashing around in the kiddie pool, and taking some championship-level naps.
When my foster parents are at work, I hang out, nap, and play nicely with my foster sister. When they get home, I am ready to greet them with tail wags and love! I am learning that leash walks are pretty great — I do best walking with my confident foster brother, but I am still a bit shy on my own. I ride well in the car, sleep through the night in my kennel (it helps me with potty training), and I am this close to being fully potty trained. Once I get the hang of it, I would love to trade my kennel for a cozy spot snuggled up next to my humans in bed. I can be shy at first and like to take things at my own pace, but once I feel comfortable, my happy, goofy personality shines. I am growing braver every day and turning into the perfect little Colorado adventure buddy.
If you think we could be a match, apply to meet me today — I am ready to be your best friend and adventure partner for life!
