Featured Dogs

Name:
Norris 2
Age: 11 Years Old
Gender: Male
About: Hello, I am Norris — an 11-year-old gentleman who believes the best part of life is having a best friend. I love strolls, snacks, naps, and being by the side of my favorite person. I am a sensitive boy with a big heart, and I promise endless smiles and tail wags in return for love and patience. Even as a senior, I still enjoy easy adventures and being your loyal sidekick.
I have been overlooked because I get anxious when I am left alone. I was found abandoned in a house, and that experience never quite leaves you. I am not “too much” — I just need someone who understands. Someone who works from home, is retired, or simply wants a constant companion would be perfect for me. I do well in a calm home without kids, and I find comfort with a gentle dog friend, though I would also love to be your one and only if I am not left alone. You will not be on your own helping me succeed — I come with support, including help from my amazing foster and a free training session to make my transition easier. If you believe senior dogs and sensitive souls deserve love too, I hope you will consider me. Please apply to learn more or share my story so I can finally find my forever. Maybe it is you.
Name: Tarantallegra
Age: 1 Year Old
Gender: Female
About: Tarantallegra is a sweet, loyal cattle dog who forms very deep bonds once he feels safe and trusts you. He needs an adopter with herding/working breed experience — or someone fully committed to training, structure, and daily mental and physical exercise. Tarantallegra can be fearful with new people and does best in a quiet home with limited visitors. He tends to bond most closely with one person, making a single-person household ideal, though he could succeed in a multi-person home with consistent training. He prefers to take things at his own pace and needs a patient adopter who will respect his space while he builds trust.
When excited, Tarantallegra may try to herd, so he needs a “job,” plenty of enrichment, and regular activity. He loves chew toys, enjoys staying busy, and is a big cuddler once comfortable.
Tarantallegra is a flight risk in the first few days in a new home, so secure management is critical. He has done well with large dogs and his foster’s cat, but can be dog-selective, so slow introductions are a must. He is fully potty trained and will use a crate once settled in. A home without children is preferred. If you are patient, experienced, and looking for a deeply devoted companion, Tarantallegra could be a wonderful match.

Name: Liv
Age: 6 Months Old
Gender: Female
About: Hi, I am Liv — a Cattledog super mix and 100 percent the best girl. Liv is a sweet, sensitive puppy with a gentle heart and so much love to give. She enjoys all the classic puppy things — playing with her littermates, eating, napping, and then doing it all over again. She looks to her older foster dog siblings for guidance and follows their lead beautifully, making her a great fit for a home with a confident dog.
While Liv can be a little unsure in new situations, she finds comfort in staying close to her people and will happily curl up in your lap when she needs reassurance. With a patient and gentle approach, she warms up quickly and continues to grow more confident every day. Liv loves being near her humans and her dog friends, soaking up snuggles and giving sweet puppy kisses. She will thrive in a home that respects her boundaries and allows her to build trust at her own pace. In return, you will get a deeply loyal and loving companion. She is doing great on leash walks alongside a confident dog, sleeps through the night in her kennel, and is making excellent progress with potty training. Liv is ready to find her forever family and continue learning all the wonderful things about life — from cozy couch snuggles to outdoor Colorado adventures.

It is clear she is more than ready to settle into a home routine and when it is time to play, her joyful and goofy side shines. She loves squeaky toys and will happily entertain herself, pouncing, spinning, and tossing them around with pure excitement. Name: Bart 2
Age: 3 Years Old
Gender: Male
About: This sweet boy is a total professional when it comes to kisses, cuddles, and long walks. While he may get a little wiggly and excited when it’s time for an adventure, he quickly turns into a complete gentleman once the leash is on — he walks beautifully with no pulling and is such an enjoyable companion to have by your side. He’s a strong, sturdy guy with an even bigger heart, and he loves showing affection by leaning into his people for pets and attention. It’s his sweet way of staying close to the humans he loves most. He isn’t the biggest fan of going back into his kennel and will happily dart out to greet you the second the door opens, ready for love and attention. But once settled inside, his manners are truly impressive. He’s very quiet, rarely barks, and will simply sit calmly watching the world go by, hoping someone stops for a little connection and affection.
Outside, his playful side really shines. He loves zoomies, exploring the yard, and having fun. He may not be the best fit for a home with cats, as he is very fascinated by them, so please check with us about cat testing to make sure he would be the right fit for your family. He was an absolute star at our recent adoption event, charming volunteers and strangers alike with his wagging tail, sweet personality, and gentle treat-taking skills. He interacted well with the other dogs he met but does appreciate slow, respectful introductions to help everyone feel comfortable and set up for success.
