Name: Lin-Ling
Age: 5 Year Old
Gender: Female
About:
Hi there! I am a five-year-old mama dog with the gentlest soul and the most expressive little face. My big brown eyes and goofy ears — which sometimes flop and sometimes stand tall depending on my mood — are guaranteed to melt your heart. I am a mellow girl who enjoys calm leash walks, loves quiet companionship, and already knows a few commands, which makes me an easy and loving friend to have around. I have spent my life giving love to my puppy, and now I am ready for a forever family who can give that love right back to me. Could it be you? I am a medium-sized Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix currently waiting at the Ft. Lupton shelter. I do need a home without cats, and I can be selective with other dogs, so slow introductions and the right match are important for me. My perfect home would be a mellow, peaceful place with another calm dog to keep me company — or I would be just as happy as a solo dog soaking up all the love for myself. If you are looking for a sweet, gentle companion who is ready for her new beginning, I would love to meet you.
Name: Curtis
Age: 2 Years Old
Gender: Male
About: Curtis is a charming pittie mix with a story that will tug at your heart. Found starving, alone, and with broken teeth, this sweet boy has endured more than his fair share of hardship — yet he never lost his spirit. Through it all, he continues to greet every person he meets with a wagging tail and a hopeful heart. While Curtis is incredibly loving with people, his past experiences have made it difficult for him to be around other animals. Because of this, he must be the only pet in the home — but trust us, he has more than enough love to give. Curtis enjoys the simple things: short walks, lounging in the grass, and spending time with his humans. He would thrive in a quiet home with a secure yard, where he can relax, soak up the sun, and finally feel safe and loved. This special boy is looking for a peaceful forever home where he can be your one and only. If you're ready to open your heart to a loyal, resilient, and endlessly sweet companion, Curtis is ready to meet you.
Name: Trokka
Age: 2 Years Old
Gender: Female
About: At 2 years old, this sweet and loyal cattle dog mix has the perfect balance of adventure and chill. Weighing just under 40 lbs, she is also on the petite side! Her foster family reports that Trokka loves to zoom around the yard showing off her agility, but she is just as happy to curl up beside you for snuggles on the couch.
Trokka is good with most dogs and genuinely enjoys their company, though every now and then there may be one she simply does not click with. She would happily join a home with other dogs, but she would also do well as a solo pup as long as she has good outlets for play and mental stimulation. She is house trained, non-destructive, and has wonderful manners in the home. Trokka would love an active home where she can join in on long walks or runs, hikes, or fun play sessions, but she will also be your best snuggle buddy when it is time to unwind. Due to her natural herding instincts, she would do best in a home without small children. With her big heart, loyal nature, and joyful spirit, she forms bonds quickly and is so ready to be someone’s best friend.

Name: Strawberry Lemonade
Age: 2 Years Old
Gender: Female
About: Affectionately called Berries or Bear by her foster family, this gentle St. Bernard has a story as unforgettable as her name. She was found atop a mountain pass above Lukachukai, AZ — starving, unable to walk, and still doing everything she could to keep her five newborn babies alive. After rescue, full diagnostics revealed that her wobbliness was not from injury or malnutrition, but from Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a congenital condition affecting balance and coordination. The important thing is: Bear is not in pain, and with simple safety considerations (help with stairs, caution around water, and avoiding heights), she can live a full, happy, normal life. Bear is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. She blended into her foster family’s dog pack instantly and loves walks, car rides, and gentle adventures. She is fully potty trained, sleeps through the night, and walks beautifully on leash. She is sensitive, a little stubborn in the most charming way, and incredibly resilient. Bear may have a disability, but she is not defined by it. She is joyful, loving, strong, and so deserving of a forever family who will embrace her for exactly who she is. Any adopter would be lucky to share their life with this special girl.

Name: Vomma
Age: 2 Years Old
Gender: Female
About: Hi friends! My name is Vooma, and I am a gorgeous yellow Lab mix with a heart as big as the Colorado sky! My start in life was a little bumpy — I had to have my tail amputated when I arrived at the shelter — but don’t worry, I’ve perfected the full-body wag! Trust me, when I’m happy (which is a lot), my whole backside joins the party. I recently spent a weekend on a “doggy day out” in a foster home, and let me tell you, I nailed it! I settled in right away, soaked up all the love, and showed my people just how sweet, gentle, and fun I can be. I’m smart, eager to please, and a total lovebug once I get to know you. I’m an active girl who loves adventures — hiking, playing fetch, rolling in the grass, or showing off my signature excited “tippy taps.” But after the fun, I’m all about curling up next to you for some well-deserved snuggle time. I also do great in a kennel and can keep myself busy with toys when you need some “me time.” Now, full disclosure: I prefer to be the one and only dog in the home. I like having my humans all to myself — what can I say? I’m a bit of a diva in the best possible way! I promise to give you more than enough love, laughter, and cuddles to make up for it. So if you’re looking for a loyal, loving, slightly goofy best friend who’s equal parts adventure buddy and couch snuggler, I’m your girl! I’m at the shelter waiting for my forever family — apply to adopt me today and let’s start our next chapter together!

Name: Rockii
Age: 7 months Old
Gender: Male
About: Rockii is a 6-month-old Labr mix with a heart full of joy and the sweetest personality. Weighing about 30 lbs (and still growing!), he is the perfect blend of playful energy and cuddly affection. He is great with kids, dogs, and even cats, making him a wonderful addition to just about any loving home. Rockii adores people and other dogs, and he is a huge fan of toys. One of his favorite activities is digging through his toy box to find just the right one—whether it is a ball, a squeaky toy, or something soft to carry around. He loves to play, but he also has an incredibly tender side. After a day of fun, you will often find him curled up with his favorite stuffy or snuggled beside his humans. He sleeps soundly through the night and is quickly learning to self-soothe in his crate, showing how ready he is to settle into a routine. He would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to play with, but he would also do well as a solo pup as long as he has plenty of attention and outlets for his energy. His gentle nature makes him wonderful with kids, and during his cat test, he showed absolutely no reactivity—this boy is all about peaceful coexistence! Rockii is food-motivated and eager to please, which has made house training easy and fun. He is smart, quick to learn, and a joy to train. With consistency and love, he will continue to blossom beautifully. If you are looking for a playful, loving, easygoing companion who is ready to grow by your side, Rockii is the one for you.

With gentle guidance and consistency, he’ll quickly pick up good manners and continue to grow into a well-behaved companion. Name: Franky
Age: 5 Months Old
Gender: Male
About: Hi everyone! My name is Franky, and I am one lucky pup! I got my freedom ride all the way to beautiful Colorado, and I am loving my new mountain life. The only thing missing now is a forever family to call my own!
People always say I have an old soul — calm, gentle, and oh-so-sweet. They are totally right! I am a mellow little guy who loves to snuggle and be close to my people. But do not let my calm side fool you — I have a fun, playful streak too! I love wrestling with my foster siblings (young and old), chewing on my toys and chewies, splashing around in the kiddie pool, and taking some championship-level naps.
When my foster parents are at work, I hang out, nap, and play nicely with my foster sister. When they get home, I am ready to greet them with tail wags and love! I am learning that leash walks are pretty great — I do best walking with my confident foster brother, but I am still a bit shy on my own. I ride well in the car, sleep through the night in my kennel (it helps me with potty training), and I am this close to being fully potty trained. Once I get the hang of it, I would love to trade my kennel for a cozy spot snuggled up next to my humans in bed. I can be shy at first and like to take things at my own pace, but once I feel comfortable, my happy, goofy personality shines. I am growing braver every day and turning into the perfect little Colorado adventure buddy.
If you think we could be a match, apply to meet me today — I am ready to be your best friend and adventure partner for life!
